The CSI 300 Consumer Discretionary Index includes stocks issued by consumer discretionary sector in China. The consumer discretionary sector consists of companies which provide non-essential consumer goods or services. The Index is calculated in RenMinBi (CNY). The companies are selected on the basis that they have the largest combined value of readily available shares as compared to other companies on the stock exchanges. The Index is reviewed and may be adjusted every 6 months. The Index is calculated on a price return basis, which means that the level of the Index does not include any dividends and distributions made by the companies.
