Equity Europe Consumer staples
The MSCI Europe Consumer Staples Index contains large and mid cap stocks from sectors incl. manufacturers and distributors of food, beverages and tobacco and producers of non-durable household goods and personal products. It also includes food & drug retailing companies as well as hypermarkets and consumer super centers. The index is based on 15 Developed Market countries in Europe incl. Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
