The MSCI World Low Carbon Leaders Index is based on the MSCI World Index and includes large and mid-cap stocks across 23 Developed Markets countries. The index aims to reduce two dimensions of carbon exposure: carbon emissions and fossil fuel reserves. The index excludes companies with the highest carbon emission intensity and largest owners of carbon reserves and aims to achieve at least 50% carbon reduction.
